Are you looking to buy a home, but fear your financial situation won't allow it?
Did your bank or credit union tell you that you are approved as long as you bring in $15,000 - $30,000 for a down payment & closing costs?
Don't give up!
Owning a home can happen and we can assist in making it a reality for you with the help of a home grant. Home Grants allow buyers to purchase a home with little to No money down. While a primary source of home grant money continues to come from the federal government, many programs are also sponsored by cities and counties to attract home buyers into their municipality. Cities and counties want more people living in the area because it supports their revenue from utilities, local merchant’s sales and property taxes. Several cities and counties have home grant programs available. The trick is which ones are available and which one fits your needs?
So.. Who Qualifies?
Housing grants can be used for a wide range of people with a wide range of needs: from first-time home buyers to those who have owned homes in the past or for those who maybe interested in seniors-only communities. Grants exist for families, two-member households, and even single individuals.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through a joint initiative with the Federal Government, cities, counties and banking, offer grants to encourage home ownership.
Some programs do not always have funds available and may need to wait to be refunded.
